Promising year ahead for Vision Racing

Vision Racing is sponsored and supported by Delamere Dairy, GRM Property Consultants and Swinnerton Cycles since the team was established in 2013.
The team consists of local riders from the Cheshire area as well as riders from Staffordshire, Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
For the 2017 season three new riders have been recruited to further strengthen the team which is made up of four women riders and eight men.
Ian Middleton team manager said “2016 has been our most successful to date for both the women and men’s teams with high placings in both local events and elsewhere in the country. Notable success has been achieved by Claire Harrison who was first women in the Cheshire Points Series a competition run during the season over 20 events which cover 10miles,25 miles,50miles. Claire coming 33rd out of 279 riders. Adam Robinson coming 6th place in the same competition. Jayne Dickens became the women’s National Veterans Road Race Champion (45-49)”

In the 2017 season the teams will compete in Local, Manchester and North West areas plus targeting National Events both in Road Racing and Time Trialling which will include the Tour of Cambridge a World Championship Qualifier in June with one member of the team is targeting the UK National Triathlon in Bolton in July.

We are extremely appreciative of all the support and encouragement that we continue to receive from our Sponsors which enables the team to ride in the latest, up to date kit supplied by Bio Racer and to have in place other essential elements required to run and organise the team successfully.”
The team have now started their winter training programmes and are looking forward to starting the racing season in March 2017
